IPP2 (Image Processing Pipeline 2) is RED Digital Cinema’s new color pipeline that both simplifies and enhances the RED image workflow. During this 5-hour workshop aimed at DPs and Colorists, we’ll run through the latest Red camera offerings, explain the different image components of IPP2 (REDWideGamutRGB, Log3g10…) and show how to efficiently use these tools both on set and in post. The workshop will conclude with a festive happy hour where participants will be able to explore the new ecosystem first hand.
The workshop is hosted by Mathieu Marano, CineGround’s lead colorist and post supervisor, and Simran Dewan, DOP and CineGround’s Red Camera Specialist.
